Well what a crazy few months we have all had. March 23rd saw all of our team head homewards to work, with only one of us left in dispatch.
We thought that would be fine! wrong. The schools and charities then started to purchase, and so quickly it saw that one in dispatch was not enough, so another team member was added. Fast forward to June, and our team are now split with five of us back in the office and three still working from home.
We also made some changes to how we work:
- Social distancing now in our business with desk spacing and sanitisers all around our offices. Staff pick and pack only if they have hand sanitised beforehand.
- We have sent out hundreds of e code orders for schools and charities, and have now given them their own login area of our website rather than having to email us to order so they can order online safely and at any time of the day.
- Phone lines are back on from 8th June when more of our team return , but we are encouraging everyone to email please as it is much easier and quicker to resolve queries that way and you have an email trail of your questions.
- We have changed our working hours! now 8-4pm all week. We noticed a considerable uplift in work, happy team and our mindfulness when starting earlier and finishing a little earlier than normal so we have decided this is the new us!
